I got to play with the wondrous women of\u00a0<strong>Missing Mandy<\/strong> &#8211; a raucous cover band version of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/honeyhouse.me\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>hONEyhoUSe<\/strong><\/a>, one of the very best bands in the Southwest. In addition to the regular line up (<strong>Hillary Smith<\/strong> on vocals,\u00a0<strong>Yvonne Perea<\/strong> on guitar &amp; vocals,\u00a0<strong>Dianne De Leon<\/strong> on drums, and\u00a0<strong>Danielle Andrade<\/strong> on bass), we had a special guest sit in with us: Hillary&#8217;s daughter, the incomparable\u00a0<strong>Lyric Urzetta\u00a0<\/strong>&#8211; who recently graduated from LSU with a degree in opera!<\/p>\n<p>We played at the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center&#8217;s\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.puebloharvestcafe.com\/party-on-the-patio\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Pueblo Harvest Cafe<\/a>.<\/strong> There aren&#8217;t many venues in the Southwest that treat musicians better than the folks at IPCC, and it is always a joy to perform there!<\/p>\n<p>Last night was no exception! The place was packed with people who continually filled the dance floor, and who sang along beautifully with every song! Any time I get to play with these ladies, it&#8217;s a magical time&#8230; and last night was particularly amazing! The groove was strong with us!!<\/p>\n<p>Can&#8217;t wait for the next time I get to perform with this exceptional band!!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last night, I had more fun than I&#8217;ve had in a very long time!
